Common Questions

Good to know before you start

How much does a stamped concrete project cost?
Stamped concrete costs more than a plain broom-finish pour because of the extra forming, coloring, stamping, and sealing involved — but it's typically less than natural stone or pavers for the same look. The final price comes down to square footage, how much demo and grading the site needs, equipment access, and the pattern and finish you choose. We'll walk the space with you and give you an exact, no-obligation number.
Stamped concrete vs. pavers or natural stone — what's the difference?
Stamped concrete gives you the look of slate, stone, brick, or wood plank in one continuous pour. Unlike pavers, there are no individual joints for weeds to grow through or to shift and settle unevenly over time, and it's usually cheaper to install for the same look. Pavers are easier to spot-replace, but sealed stamped concrete is lower-maintenance and extremely durable.
How long does a project take?
Most residential projects take about 1–3 days of on-site work — demo and prep, forming, pouring, and stamping — plus curing time. You can usually walk on it within a couple of days; we recommend waiting about a week before heavy use, and a little longer before parking vehicles on a new driveway.
How is stamped concrete finished and maintained?
Initial sealing is included with stamped concrete. The product and any traction additive are specified for your project. Sealed concrete can still be slippery when wet; no finish is slip-proof. Follow the installed product's cleaning and care guidance.
What types of projects do you take on?
Concrete patios, driveways, walkways, pool decks, outdoor living areas, large decorative slabs, and sport courts — including pickleball and basketball courts with crisp painted lines. Whether it's a backyard patio or a full multi-court pour, we handle the prep, pour, finish, and layout from start to clean-up. Estimates are always free.
What areas do you serve?
We serve homeowners throughout the local area. If you're not sure whether you're in range, just reach out — and if it's not a fit for us, we'll happily point you in the right direction.
