How It Works

From first conversation to final walkthrough

A clear, documented process — so you know what to expect at every stage before, during, and after construction.

01

Submit Project Details

Share your project address, rough dimensions, finish ideas, and a few photos. The more detail you provide, the faster and more accurate your project review.

02

Initial Project Review

Project details are reviewed personally — photos, site access, drainage considerations, and what the scope will realistically require — before a site visit is scheduled.

03

Site Consultation

The owner walks the space with you personally — grading, equipment access, drainage, existing conditions, and design options. Questions get answered on-site, not after the deposit.

04

Written Scope & Proposal

You receive a written proposal with a clearly defined scope: base prep, slab thickness, reinforcement, finish, timeline, and an exact price. No vague allowances. No surprises. Scope changes require written approval before work continues.

05

Site Preparation & Construction

Excavation, base preparation, forming, pouring, stamping, and sealing — performed by experienced crews held to the 865 Titan Standard. Property access routes are planned in advance to protect your lawn and landscape.

06

Cleanup & Final Walkthrough

The site is cleaned and debris removed before the walkthrough begins. The owner reviews the finished project with you, explains care instructions, and hands over your written warranty documentation.

Who You're Working With

A direct point of contact from the first conversation through the final walkthrough

865 Titan Concrete is owned and operated by Ben Norris. When you reach out, you reach Ben — not a call center, a dispatch team, or a salesperson who disappears after the deposit is collected.

Every project request is reviewed personally before a site visit is scheduled. The owner attends every site consultation, writes every proposal, and conducts every final walkthrough. If something ever needs attention after completion, you call the same number you started with.

The 865 Titan Standard

Built to a written specification — not a handshake

Every project is quoted and constructed against the same written standard. The parts you can't see from the street are the reason the finish holds up year after year.

Engineered Base Preparation

Compacted base material under every pour — stable footing and proper site drainage before any concrete is placed.

Full 4-Inch Slab

A true 4-inch slab thickness — formed and verified. Not thinned at the edges to reduce material cost.

3,500 PSI Concrete

Above the typical 3,000 PSI residential standard — more strength, longer service life, better finish retention.

Reinforcement Where Required

Wire-mesh reinforcement for driveways, vehicle-load areas, and large-format pours where structural demand warrants it.

Premium SRS Sealing

Finished with SRS premium sealer from Southern Rebar — richer color and longer-lasting protection than typical consumer-grade sealers.

Everything in Writing

Scope, base prep, slab thickness, finish, timeline, and exact price — documented and agreed upon before the first shovel turns.

Project Investment

Understanding the investment in a concrete project

Every project is different — scope, site conditions, access, finish, and square footage all affect the final number. A written proposal with an exact price comes after the site consultation.

Every project is scoped and priced individually — square footage, site conditions, access, finish selection, and base preparation requirements all affect the final number. A written proposal with an exact price comes after the site consultation, not before.
Common Questions

Good to know before you start

How much does a stamped concrete project cost?
Stamped concrete costs more than a plain broom-finish pour because of the extra forming, coloring, stamping, and sealing involved. The final price comes down to square footage, site preparation requirements, equipment access, drainage, and the pattern and finish you choose. After a site consultation, you'll receive a written proposal with an exact price — no vague allowances.
Stamped concrete vs. pavers or natural stone — what's the difference?
Stamped concrete gives you the look of slate, stone, brick, or wood plank in one continuous pour. Unlike pavers, there are no individual joints for weeds or for settling unevenly over time. Sealed stamped concrete is lower-maintenance and highly durable. Pavers allow spot-replacement; stamped concrete offers a seamless surface at a competitive installed cost for similar appearances.
How long does a project take?
Most residential projects take 1–3 days of on-site work — excavation, base prep, forming, pouring, stamping, and sealing — plus curing time. You can typically walk on it within a couple of days; we recommend waiting about a week before heavy use and longer before parking vehicles on a new driveway. Timeline specifics are included in your written proposal.
Is stamped concrete slippery? How do I maintain it?
Sealed concrete can be slick when wet. For pool decks and high-traffic walkways, we mix a clear anti-slip additive into the sealer for better grip. Maintenance is straightforward — rinse as needed and reseal approximately every 2–3 years to keep the color rich and the surface protected.
What types of projects do you take on?
Stamped patios, decorative driveways, pool decks, outdoor living areas, walkways, courtyards, large decorative slabs, and private sport courts — including pickleball and basketball courts with crisp regulation lines. All projects start with a complimentary project review.
What is the 865 Titan Standard?
It's the written construction specification behind every project: a compacted base for stable footing and drainage, a true 4-inch slab at 3,500 PSI (above the typical 3,000 PSI residential mix), wire-mesh reinforcement where the project requires it, and a finish protected with premium SRS sealer. Every detail is spelled out in your written proposal before work begins. See the full standard at 865titanconcrete.com/the-standard.
What areas do you serve?
We serve homeowners across Knoxville, Farragut, West Knoxville, Bearden, Hardin Valley, Maryville, Lenoir City, and surrounding East Tennessee. 865 Titan Concrete also selectively reviews substantial residential projects in other Tennessee markets and nearby Southeast regions — see Travel Projects for details.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Every project is backed by a written workmanship warranty — terms are included in your project proposal and reviewed before work begins. If something ever needs attention after completion, you contact the same number you started with. See our warranty page for details.
